The IT Extra Credit Project is an opportunity for you to compare the code that you used to complete the VLOOKUP assignment to the code created by an AI assistant of your choice (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or whatever option you choose). Completion of this project can earn you up to 10 points of extra credit.

Complete the assignment using AI of your choice and compare that to the code that you wrote for the assignment originally.

All students, whether participating virtually or in person, will be graded using the same learning outcomes, rubrics, and grading criteria. To ensure equal access, everyone will receive the same materials, deadlines, instructions, and opportunities to ask questions and receive support (e.g., training videos, project feedback, mentoring). Expectations and the rubric will be shared in advance, and grading decisions will be based on evidence of learning and the quality of submitted work, not individual circumstances or participation format. Technical issues will be handled in accordance with a clear, consistent policy to ensure no student is unfairly advantaged or disadvantaged.
