Course Policies & Guidelines

Statement of Fairness

All students, whether participating virtually or in person, will be graded using the same learning outcomes, rubrics, and grading criteria. To ensure equal access, everyone will receive the same materials, deadlines, instructions, and opportunities to ask questions and receive support (e.g., training videos, project feedback, mentoring). Expectations and the rubric will be shared in advance, and grading decisions will be based on evidence of learning and the quality of submitted work, not individual circumstances or participation format. Technical issues will be handled in accordance with a clear, consistent policy to ensure no student is unfairly advantaged or disadvantaged.

Use of AI Tools

Generative AI tools (like ChatGPT) will be used for brainstorming and debugging code. However, you must disclose the use of these tools in your final submission and explain how they were utilized in your development process.

Deadline Policy

As this is an extra credit opportunity, late submissions will not be accepted. Please plan your technical implementation accordingly to account for potential bugs or hosting issues.
